When we see a face like this, we know why we volunteer! Last week at the Fall Family Festival, we saw lots of little smiling faces like Chloe. Each one as sweet and precious as she is. For a brief moment in time, we had a chance to help them be children - once again taking away the stress of life, even if for a couple of hours to allow them to be children and play!
As adults, we too have stress in our lives. So many times we can do nothing to help forget it, remove it, or make life bearable with it. But last week, much like the children who were here, we also experienced that brief moment in time with them. As volunteers, we played a part in making it happen - and it was a choice we made. A choice to invest in the life of someone else. A choice to come and volunteer a little bit of our time to help those children experience the love of Christ. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference.
